Cordelia is Elrha's Senior Research Impact Advisor. With over 15 years experience of policy engagement and research communications in the international development and humanitarian sectors, Cordelia supports humanitarian health researchers to translate research into effective and strategic knowledge translation products and engagement activities that can influence policy and practice.

Knowledge Translation Expert Lilian Mayieka

Ms. Lilian M. Mayieka is the Ag. Deputy Director of Knowledge Management & Research Development at the Kenya Medical Research Institute. A Senior Research Scientist with over a decade of experience, she specialises in quantitative and qualitative research, disease surveillance, and outbreak response. Holding a Master’s in Public Health and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences, she is also a Certified Knowledge Manager. Ms. Mayieka is passionate about institutional knowledge synthesis and translating research into actionable insights for evidence-based decision-making across East Africa.

Knowledge Translation Expert Ahmad Firas Khalid

Dr. Ahmad Firas Khalid is a medical doctor, health policy advisor, and lecturer specializing in health systems and crisis response. He holds a PhD in Health Policy from McMaster University, focusing on evidence-informed decision-making in humanitarian settings. With experience at Médecins Sans Frontières and the World Health Organization, Firas brings deep expertise in medicine, education, and global health policy. Firas supports learners to navigate and influence health systems with research evidence in the Middle East and beyond.
